So it's a little late coming, but here are pictures from my trip to NACCC in Chicago this year. Had a great time and the kids in Chicago are some of the most generous people I've met. I hung out with these guys all weekend, the kids from 4 Star Courier and the Chicago Cuttin Crew. Here is Jeff being himself on top of the now famous party bus.
Here is Adam who was kind enough to let me crash at his place and show me around town. Apparently he is known for trying to race while eating hot dogs, guess it's a chicago thing.
This is Murphy, Adams dog. He spooned with me on the couch all weekend and was a nice reminder of sleeping in my own bed with my dogs.

The Sale
So as we all know with change things become more expensive. So we have decided to do a month long special. For the month of september if you place an order with me you can get our new bag design for the old price (this does not include the deluxe back pack) But as of october first our prices will be going up and any orders after that will be the new prices. So get those orders in fast.
New Bags!!!!
So here at girl.bike.dog. we listen to our customers and have decided to give the people what they want. We are now introducing the new bag design for girl.bike.dog.. All bags from this point on (except for the x-small) will be made this way.Features include:
--the wrap around strap, you know that strap configuration everyone likes so much
--fully padded upper main strap
--double d-ring strap adjusters
All these new features make it so the bag lays flatter on your back when full and you have no gaps where water can get it. With the padded strap there will be no more webbing digging in your shoulder or buckles poking you in the chest. And you can still move your sternum strap around to where it is comfortable to you because the strap is not sewn completely to the padding.
We are also changing our hip pouches by adding an addition flap buckle/compression strap to the already existing velcro closure. And we have a new deluxe back pack as well as our standard back packs that includes a side entry zipper for easy access to small packages and an extender flap for the giant awkward ones. Pictures of these will be coming soon.

So yeah. Girl.Bike.Dog. sponsored the NACCC(north american cycling courier championships)this year in Chicago. It was awesome and I love chicago. We made the male and female non-messenger prizes. Aren't they pretty?

I think this was 2nd place?
so....I have been told this was not second, so its just some guy holding a bag I made. Don't know why I don't have a a picture of second place.
Donovan got DFL and won a plastic cowboy hat, sheriffs badge and a titanium spork.
Eric got the dirtiest drunk.
